'the only thing that worked was when using add hardware wizard, the adapter showed up in the list, however, the adapter install was unsucessful, the system had problems finding the adapter source disk, i even opened up the folder for win 98 and put the two files that were there in the root of the drive, no matter what i did i could not get the drivers loaded, im about to tr

SAME DRIVER I USED ONE MORE FAST ETHERNET ADAPTER WITH THE SAME CHIP RTC8139D ON IT MARKETED BY INTEX BUT NOT RESPONDED. TRIED ALL DRIVERS 8139D FAILED. AT LAST REMOVED THOSE TWO ETHERNET ADAPTERS AND USED USB PORT. I AM NOW QUITE COMFORTABLE.'
